What do Spanish students think about studying in Cardiff?

We spoke with Ema and Laura, two best friends from Seville, about their experience studying English at our school in Cardiff.

After years of dreaming about studying abroad and researching many schools, they decided on Celtic English Academy.

They previously knew nothing about Wales – “It’s our opportunity to discover something new”. They were not disappointed!

What did they like about Celtic?

They benefited from the small class sizes of only 10 students. They got much more attention from their teachers than they might expect with other schools.

They also loved the location – they mentioned how green Cardiff is with many beautiful parks.

What was it like living with host families?

They loved how welcoming and friendly their host families were. Laura enjoyed her host mother’s cooking and Ema loved movie nights with her host parents. But this didn’t stop them from spending many evenings with their new friends in the Bay.
