Celtic English Academy Wins SME Exporter of the Year at Wales Business Awards 2025

We are proud to announce that Celtic English Academy has won the SME Exporter of the Year award at the Wales Business Awards 2025, hosted by the South Wales Chamber of Commerce. The award, sponsored by the Welsh Government, was presented during a ceremony on 12th June at the Holland House Hotel in Cardiff.

This award celebrates small and medium-sized businesses that are making an outstanding contribution to international trade, driving inward investment, and promoting Wales to the world. At Celtic English Academy, we are committed to welcoming international students to Cardiff, providing high-quality English language education while helping raise Wales’ global profile.

Our CEO Shoko Doherty and Head of Operations Sondrine Sharland were honoured to attend the ceremony and accept the award on behalf of the whole team. 

At Celtic English Academy, we teach English and give a warm Welsh welcome to all international students. We proudly promote Wales to a global audience and therefore boost Welsh economy.
