Household Solar Lighting, Zambia

Chosen for its profound social benefits, this project provides solar lighting to families in Zambia without access to electricity. The project replaces inefficient and carbon-intensive kerosene lamps and fireplaces with solar lighting, significantly reducing carbon emissions and improving the quality of life for families, enabling children to study and families to cook and socialise safely at home.

Wind Power in Karnataka, India

The Wind Power project in Karnataka, India, generates renewable electricity through wind electric generators (WEGs) in an area where energy would typically come from fossil fuels. The construction and operation of this wind farm supply the Karnataka state electricity grid, which is part of the Southern Regional Electricity Grid of India. This project not only provides a clean energy source but also offers economic benefits by reducing dependency on fossil fuels and promoting sustainable energy development in the region.

Salkhit Wind Farm, Mongolia

Salkhit Wind Farm is Mongolia’s first grid-connected wind energy project. It generates renewable electricity using wind turbines and supplies power to the Mongolian central grid, helping meet the region’s growing electricity demand.
